The Corporate Finance Training Series is designed to provide associates with a foundational understanding of the various aspects of the corporate finance practice. Corporate Finance associates are expected to attend, and all Corporate associates are welcome.
Program Description
Please join Deborah Enea for "Voting Provisions in Debt Documents" on Tuesday, January 24 at 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET. This session will provide an analysis of voting provisions in syndicated loan agreements, including required lender and minority investor positions, non-consenting and defaulting lender provisions, and affiliated lender and equity sponsor voting. Participants will receive a drafting exercise at the conclusion of the training to complete over the following week. On Tuesday, January 31 at 2:00 – 2:30 p.m. ET, participants will reconvene for a short practicum session to review their markup against a model and discuss any questions with Deborah.
The January 24 Training Session is approved for MCLE credit for California, Illinois, New Jersey (through reciprocity), New York (newly admitted and experienced), and Pennsylvania. Troutman Pepper will automatically seek credit in the states where we have office locations unless state restrictions apply. Credit for other jurisdictions may be available upon request. For those licensed in California, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, and/or Pennsylvania, certificates will be distributed within 30 business days.
