Ted Fauls Named Troutman Sanders Richmond Managing Partner
RICHMOND, VIRGINIA (March 20, 2006) . . . Troutman Sanders LLP is pleased to announce that
Thomas E. duB. 'Ted' Fauls has been named Managing Partner of the law firm's Richmond Office. Robert D. Seabolt, the Richmond-based Administrative Partner of Troutman Sanders LLP, had been overseeing the firm's
activities for the Richmond office. He will continue in his role as Administrative Partner of the firm.
"With the addition of our New York office last year and plans for further expansion, we decided that Richmond should have a leader who is focused primarily on growth and service in this important region," said Robert W.
Webb, Jr., Chairman and Managing Partner of the firm. "Ted has already held leadership positions in the firm, and he is a perfect fit to manage our Richmond office. His appointment allows Bob Seabolt to devote his time to his
ever expanding duties as the firm's Administrative Partner."

Ted Fauls joined Troutman Sanders in 1986. He is a member of the Lending and Structured Finance Practice Group and has been the Practice Group Leader since 1998. Mr. Fauls' practice focuses on representing lenders and borrowers
in a broad range of lending and financing transactions. He assists clients with structuring and closing sophisticated financing transactions, including term and revolving credit loans, loans secured by real and personal property,
acquisition loans, syndicated and non-syndicated loans, asset-based loans, and secured and unsecured subordinated and mezzanine debt transactions; and he assists clients with loan restructurings and workouts. Mr. Fauls regularly
represents national and regional bank and non-bank lenders and leasing companies as well as publicly and privately held companies.
Mr. Fauls is a Member of the Virginia Bar Association, Business Law and Business Bankruptcy Sections, and a Member of the American Bar Association, Subcommittee on Secured Transactions of the Uniform Commercial Code Committee and
the Subcommittee on Secured Creditors of the Business Bankruptcy Committee. Mr. Fauls received his bachelor's degree from the College of William and Mary in 1983 and earned his J.D. from the College of William and Mary in 1986.
