Troutman Pepper’s Brett Tarver Selected for 2021 Lawyers for Civil Justice Fellows Program
ATLANTA – Brett Tarver, an associate in Troutman Pepper’s Health Sciences Litigation Practice Group, was recently selected as a member of the 2021 Lawyers for Civil Justice (LCJ) Fellows Program. She will serve a three-year term.
Launched in 2019 by LCJ’s Diversity and Young Lawyers Committee, the program aims to identify future leaders of the organization. To be selected for the competitive fellowship, attorneys must have demonstrated commitment to the civil defense bar and be experienced in their practice.
Fellows can join LCJ’s advocacy committees and participate in committee meetings with senior corporate and defense counsel. They are also offered the opportunity to develop, write and advocate for LCJ policy positions.
At Troutman Pepper, Tarver primarily defends pharmaceutical and medical device companies involving mass tort, personal injury, and wrongful death claims in state and federal courts. She has experience serving as trial counsel in a dozen trials for a global product manufacturer, and regularly presents at continuing education seminars on topics such as trial practice and medical device and pharmaceutical litigation.
LCJ is a national coalition of defense trial lawyer organizations, law firms, and corporations that promotes excellence and fairness in the civil justice system to secure the just, speedy, and inexpensive determination of civil cases. Learn more at lfcj.com.
