Troutman Sanders Lobbying Group Ranks First in Georgia
Troutman Sanders Public Affairs Group was ranked No. 1 in James magazine’s fourth annual ranking of Georgia’s top lobbyists and large governmental affairs firms.
The magazine’s ranking, which appeared in its January edition, placed Troutman Sanders Public Affairs Group (TSPAG) in the top spot in a tie with GeorgiaLink Public Affairs Group.
In each of the poll’s three previous years, the firm’s lobbying group tied for second.
“It’s an honor to be placed in the number one position by James magazine,” said Pete Robinson, chairman and CEO of Troutman Sanders Public Affairs. “We’ve worked tirelessly to be a reputable and viable force in Georgia’s lobbying industry. This ranking is a nice cap to a good year.”
Separately, the lobbying group received top billing by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in a January 13 article about the top power players at the Georgia capitol. The article stated that Robinson and the group’s Robb Willis “keep a low profile, but their clients are big campaign contributors and play a major role in business, consumer and tax legislation.”
