Haden counsels clients on the protection, licensing and enforcement of intellectual property rights and has experience in patent litigation, patent prosecution, and post-grant proceedings.
Haden has experience helping an array of clients develop IP strategies, including preparing and prosecuting client inventions related to electrical and computer technology arts, mechanical arts, as well as in semiconductor technology. Haden also counsels clients on a variety of matters, including freedom to operate, patentability, patent validity, and licensing.
Additionally, Haden has experience in patent infringement litigation and post-grant proceedings (e.g., inter partes reviews) before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) involving mechanical arts, computer hardware and software, communication technology, and power distribution technology.
Prior to joining the firm, Haden taught at Georgia Institute of Technology in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Haden has a master's degree in electrical and computer engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Kentucky.
