Kimberly represents clients in a variety of business litigation matters, including complex contractual disputes, class action lawsuits, consumer disagreements, municipal defense litigation, health care defense, and other civil litigation matters. She also defends lending institutions against claims arising under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
Kimberly assists clients throughout the litigation life cycle. She has taken numerous depositions of fact and expert witnesses, has engaged in several high-profile settlement negotiations, and served on a trial team that secured a multimillion-dollar verdict in the client's favor. Kimberly has authored multiple successful dispositive motions in both federal and state courts in venues across the U.S.
She earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was an editor on the UVA Criminal Law Journal, and her B.A. from Howard University, where she majored in both English and political science.
