Quintessa is an associate in the firm's Energy practice. She focuses her practice on federal regulation of electricity and gas. She has experience drafting brief and bench memorandum and response briefs, as well as analyzing legal issues and conducting document review. She is also a regulator contributor to the firm's Washington Energy Report.
Quintessa maintains an active pro bono practice and serves as a Pro Bono Ambassador for the D.C. office. She is an active volunteer with Rising for Justice, where she represents clients eligible for DC criminal record sealing. She is also a volunteer with the DC Volunteer Lawyer's Project where she conducts immigration intake interviews for domestic abuse survivors and at-risk children seeking refugee, asylum, SJIS, or VAWA petitions.
Quintessa earned her J.D. from Widener University Delaware Law School. While attending law school, she was part of the Josiah O. Wolcott Fellowship program and received the Hon. Joseph W. deFuria Commencement Award. Quintessa also earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Rutgers University.
Quintessa serves as a member of the firm's Black Affinity Group steering committee. In this role, she helps the affinity group plan firmwide programming and represents the firm at industry events across the U.S.
