Tim is an associate in the firm's Regulatory Investigations, Strategy + Enforcement (RISE) Practice Group, where he represents corporations and individuals facing potential civil and criminal exposure. Tim's experience in government investigations, enforcement actions, and white-collar litigation spans a number of industries, including financial services, pharmaceutical, health care, and government contracting, among others.
Tim has counseled clients under investigation from the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), Department of Justice (DOJ) and various state attorneys general offices in matters involving securities fraud, insider trading, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), False Claims Act (FCA), Import, Export Regulations and Sanctions, the Civil Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) act, and consumer protection matters, among others. Tim has also represented clients in state and federal courts and in FINRA arbitrations across the U.S. on matters involving fraud, breach of contract, and other claims.
Additionally, Tim maintains an active pro bono practice and serves as co-chair of the firm's Veterans Pro Bono group representing military veterans through the National Veterans Legal Services Program and is a Pro Bono Ambassador to the firm's Atlanta office.
He regularly provides insight on legal and business developments by contributing to the firm's Regulatory blog, Regulatory Oversight.
