Troutman Sanders Expands New York Construction Practice
New York– August 18, 2014 – Troutman Sanders LLP announced today that Aaron Abraham has joined the firm as a partner in its New York City office. He will focus his practice on construction and development. Abraham is joined by two associates, Ian Forshner and Deanna DeFrancesco. All three are joining Troutman Sanders from Goulston & Storrs, P.C.
Abraham handles both construction transactional and litigation matters for owners and developers. On behalf of clients, he has negotiated and drafted the full range of development and construction agreements, as well as litigated matters involving complex construction and design-related disputes, delay claims, design errors and omissions, structural failures and collapses, and mold and water infiltration.
“Aaron, Ian and Deanna are great additions for us in New York,” said David Dantzler, managing partner of the firm’s New York office. “They strengthen the firm’s construction practice in one of our key markets.” The New York office has experienced significant growth in the last year. Abraham is the 12 th partner to join that office since August, 2013.

Abraham is a graduate of New York University. He received his J.D. from Temple University School of Law. Prior to entering private practice, he worked in the Office of the District Attorney in Queens County. He has been recognized by Chambers USA and New York Super Lawyers.
